Well, Joe surprised me tonight.
We were making the bed together and talking about our days. Our normally scheduled maintenance days are Tuesday and Saturday. We talked about making up for missed maintenance. Joe decided that we would do maintenance tomorrow night. We also discussed our teen-aged daughter and the challenges she presents… to me, in particular. He is much more patient with her than I am. She and I are a lot alike… and boy, does that create fireworks. The conversation I had with my daughter tonight on the way to drop her off at her friend’s house for a sleepover was not my finest mothering moment. Joe listened to me as I talked, and made excuses for my behavior He looked at me with a serious look and then calmly told me to take my pants down and to get into position over the edge of the bed. I couldn’t quite believe what I was hearing. I wasn’t expecting him to spank me. He said that I obviously need some help, and he was willing to do it. What a sweety… lol.
It took me a few extra seconds to actually take my pants down. I decided to challenge him a bit by leaving my panties up. Of course Joe wasn’t having that, and I dropped them too. He gave me a few light hand spanks and then about 1o medium hand spanks with his new technique. He read somewhere about keeping his hand relaxed, and make a circular type motion with his arm. Well, that type of spank hurts his hand less, and my bottom more. Perfect!! 🙂
While he was spanking me he reminded me that I need to be the mother to our daughter and not a bullying big sister. I have trouble keeping my bitchiness in check with her—and I have passed on the bitch gene to her. He reminded me how important I am to her, and that she needs me to model the type of woman we want her to be when she grows up. The lecture while he was hand spanking me was effective for sure. And then, it happened.
Last week I found a really beautiful olive wood spoon at TJ Maxx. I was excited to buy it and I was so proud when I brought it to him. It is really big and really thick. And it really hurts! He had only used it on me once when I first bought it for just a few swats. Well tonight he took it to a new level.
